RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • The students of higher Secondary School come under the Goa Board of Higher Secondary Education.
  • All the students on the Campus are responsible to the Principal and in her absence to the Class Teacher
  • Student joining the Higher Secondary School are by that very fact required to accept and observe all the rules and regulation of the Higher Secondary School and to undertake to submit to the normal enforcement of the same satisfaction of the Principal, whose decisions in all matters shall be final. Violation of rules and regulations will entail punishment including expulsion from Higher Secondary School.
  • Student should take particular care to be punctual at all lectures and tutorials. Absence from lectures must be justified in writing and if prolonged illness is the cause, a medical certificate must be submitted.
  • A student must seek prior permission/or keep the school authorities informed, if unforeseen circumstances prevent her from attending school for more than three days. Failure to inform will entail strict action
  • A minimum attendance of 75% is required for the student to be sent up for the final examination. Absence from any one lecture will be considered as absence for the full day
  • Student are expected to take proper care of school property and to help in keeping the premises clean and tidy.
  • Students should not cause disturbance on the school premises while the classes are in progress or at any other time.
  • No student should invite any outsider to attend Higher Secondary classes or functions, without the previous permission of the Principal
  • Students will form no association and will arrange no meetings in the school without the prior permission of the Principal
  • Students will not be allowed to meet visitors during class hours. In urgent cases, the prior permission of the Principal and in her absence, that of the Class Teacher of the Higher Secondary School should be obtained.
  • Letter received by day student on the higher secondary school address will not be delivered to them. They are expected to give their residential address to their relatives and friends.
  • Assignments should be submitted on time.
  • If a parent discontinues a student's education during the period if her study here, the principal must be informed of it in writing immediately
  • Attendance to school functions is necessary. Staying away from class will be seriously dealt with.
  • Ragging junior Student by the Senior student or by colleagues is punishable. The punishment imposed on the students for committing an act of ragging will go in her certificate (G. Brd .Cr No. 49 date 29 /10/09)
  • As per the Circular DE/Admn. 1/511/2005 dated 11/3/2005 issued by the Directorate of Education, Panaji, Use of mobile phones by the Students is banned in the School campus during the school hours. If student is found with a mobile phone it will be confiscated.
